I ran across a reference to The Internet Picture Dictionary recently and
decided to take a look. The Dictionary is a free, online multilingual
picture dictionary designed especially for ESL students. (Actually, it
could be helpful to anyone who is beginning to learn one of the
languages available on the Web site.) You can browse by letter or
category in one of five languages-English, French, German, Spanish or
Italian. The site also offers flashcards and fill-in-the blank and word
scramble activities among others.

Maybe you are already familiar with this resource, but If you haven't
visited The Internet Picture Dictionary Web site and you are serving ESL
students, you might want to take a look. It would be a good resource for
students to access in the classroom, at the library or at home.
