I consider Dr. Susan B. Neuman a big name in early literacy. She is
currently a professor at University of Michigan. We brought her to
Miami for PD with early childhood, pre-k and kindergarten teachers, and
for a presentation for parents at one of our family learning events.
She is fabulous.

I am curious who you would consider to be big names in literacy, both
historically and currently?
