In 1999, he published the book Enhancing Adult Motivation to Learn: A Comprehensive Guide for Teaching All Adults. Similarly, one might mention Sharan B. Merriam and Rosemary S. Caffarella, who have recently published a third edition of Learning in Adulthood.
