Dear Adult Literacy Colleagues,
We invite your thoughts about a new doctoral program in the works at VCU.
If you have 10 minutes to take the survey, we would be very grateful.

Ph. D. in Literacy Studies Survey
The Department of Teaching and Learning in the School of Education at
Virginia Commonwealth University is in the process of developing a new
Ph.D. in Literacy Studies degree. The fifty-credit, interdisciplinary
program is designed for students to study emerging literacies under the
guidance of a faculty mentor. To date, we have received supportive
program reviews from a number of expert faculty. At this time, we would
like to gain your opinion of the program as someone who is working in the
field of literacy. The survey includes a two-page overview and five
questions and should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Your
willingness to take the survey is greatly appreciated. Please follow this
