In way of response from Barbara regarding experiences on the Editorial Board for Focus on Basics, as a recent member I found the opportunity quite rewarding and informative. It was a professional growth experience to read the manuscripts and discuss the pros and cons with other Board members. If you ask to be a Board member, I believe you will find it quite rewarding.
