[HealthLiteracy] U.S. Health LiteracyDickerson, Robert DICKERR2 at ihs.orgThu Feb 9 09:43:25 EST 2006
In addition to the report by the IOM, the American Medical Association Foundation has a very easy to follow and understand manual that can be downloaded as a PDF file at www.ama-assn.org/ama1/pub/upload/mm/367/healthlitclinicians.pdf. The Ask Me 3 website, www.askme3 also has some good information on it. These reports, manuals and websites pretty much get their information from the same published literature. Hope this helps.
