Here is what I wrote to Archie Willard in response to his recent NIFL-Health posting: "Like you, I have many stories of health communication not going well. In fact, sometimes I wonder if any of the work I'm doing really makes a difference. But then other people say to me, 'If you don't do this, who will?' So I keep on going. "In the larger view, you and I and all the other health literacy advocates are making a difference. It's just hard to see our progress at times."
