Dear Friends:
I am a second-year medical student at Des Moines University. I am
currently interested in looking at the readability of medical materials
regarding patient education and instructions on the following diseases
or disorders: colon cancer, asthma, diabetes. Do any of you have any
suggestions regarding which materials we should look at? My study is
trying to look at how the high reading levels of these medical
instructions and materials, add to the lack of comprehension of many
patients. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Imrana Ahmed
