[HealthLiteracy 2106] Re: Basic health information in Swahili?Julie McKinney julie_mcKinney at worlded.orgTue Jul 1 10:07:13 EDT 2008
Charles, The Hesperian Foundation has a variety of materials and books, some of which are translated into Swahili. They focus on health care as it is delivered in the developing world, but it could be useful to your group because their materials are written in simple language with lots of pictures and good explanations of basic conditions. Go to this link: http://www.hesperian.org/publications_translation.php All the other sites I know of didn't have anything in Swahili!
