Thank you. I will call IDA in the morning and look further into Lexia.  
   
  The young man, read these e mails quite easily  (He had problems sounding out the last syllable of the word conference, so I would guess he reads on less than a 6th grade level).  He told me much of his problems, and anxiety, are around writing and spelling. . He is coordinated, athletic, musical, has a good vocabulary and memory...so I wonder the extent of his LD or dyslexia...however, I am not an expert.

They have referral lists of tutors who are familiar with multisensory instruction and who probably have the professional background this gentleman needs.  You might also want to look at the Lexia program ( www.lexialearning.com).  This is an excellent program for building decoding skills.  I feel, though, that it helps to have a teacher to work with as well.  Best of luck.
