Hi Maureen and welcome, This Discussion List focuses on Adult Literacy and Learning Disabilities. Although we focus on adults, many of our subscribers may have experience working with adolescents who have a profile similar to what you have described. I invite our members to offer suggestions that might be of help to Maureen. Thanks very much, Rochelle Hi, This is my first time posting a message here. I'm not sure I'm in the right place. I have a 13 yo boy who has executive dysfunction and a reading comprehension/processing problem. He also has a visual spatial learning disability. Expressive language is way above average both speaking and writing. His school IEP is not addressing his reading difficulties. Please if anyone knows how to access help for him, leave me a message. I'm also looking into getting an advocate. ttttttttthanks, Maureen Rochelle Rochelle Kenyon, Moderator National Institute for Literacy Learning Disabilities Discussion List_ RKenyon721 at aol.com_ (mailto:RKenyon721 at aol.com) To post a message:_ Learningdisabilities at nifl.gov_ (mailto:Learningdisabilities at nifl.gov) To subscribe:_ http://www.nifl.gov/mailman/listinfo/LearningDisabilities_ (http://www.nifl.gov/mailman/listinfo/LearningDisabilities) To read archived messages:_ http://www.nifl.gov/linc/discussions/list_archives.html_ (http://www.nifl.gov/linc/discussions/list_archives.html) -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
