[LearningDisabilities 908] Basic Text on Learning DisabilitiesRKenyon721 at aol.com RKenyon721 at aol.comSun Feb 11 11:13:23 EST 2007
Hi all, I received a request from an undergraduate student asking for a recommendation of a textbook she could read that would cover the basics on Learning Disabilities. She has a family member with suspected, yet undiagnosed learning disabilities. She wants more than a few articles and doesn't want to complete online training. She thinks that possibly a career in teaching LD might be ahead for her and wants to begin reading a scholarly text on her own time. Do you have any good recommendations? If those of you that teach at the undergraduate or graduate level can suggest some titles and authors, I will forward this on to her. Recommendations for all others will be gratefully appreciated as well.
