Hi. The Washington State tool is validated for English speakers only. There is a validated tool for Spanish speakers, called the Empire State screening tool developed through the Learning Disabilities Association of Western New York, that can be found at: http://www.ldaofwny.org/ESS%20Screeening.htm. Instructions for its use are also on that site. Ruth A. Bourquin Mass. I have just emailed Nancie Payne, developer of the Washington State LD Screening to post a message describing the history and usage of her instrument. I look forward to her response to give us more information on this critically important tool.
