Hi Barb, I'd be interested in an article about how states have approached services to adult students in a comprehensive manner. How have they collaborated/coordinated at the state or program level to leverage diagnostic assessments, support services, assistive technology, and so on? How have they collaborated to train teachers/tutors, case managers, and other personnel across agencies? How did they go about it? What were the challenges? The opportunities? The results? What data do they have to back it up? I've heard some success stories from Ohio, Washington, Wisconsin, and Arkansas. May be others... What difference has that type of systemic change had on teachers and students? Kaye **************** Kaye Beall World Education 4401 S. Do you have LD-related research (could be formal, academic type research or teacher research or action research) to share? Have you as a teacher, a program, or a state grappled with issues of LD and made significant changes as a result? Can others learn from your experiences? I'm looking for writers and for article ideas. Share your experiences on the list, or contact me off list, at b.garner4 at verizon.net I look forward to hearing from you, Regards, Barb Garner ---------------------------------------------------- National Institute for Literacy Learning Disabilities mailing list LearningDisabilities at nifl.gov To unsubscribe or change your subscription settings, please go to http://www.nifl.gov/mailman/listinfo/learningdisabilities Email delivered to kabeall at comcast.net
