Hello List Members.
Screening for LD in Ohio ABLE is mandated. Programs can either screen all
ABLE students or screen some. If they choose to screen certain individuals,
they must have a written plan explaining how they determine who they screen.
The criteria could be based on time in the program and lack of progress for
example. It has to be clear and very specific.
I would like to know from you ..........
* How many subscribers are in states that mandate screening?
* How has the use of screening increased services provided to adult
students?
* Which screening tools are being used in other states?
* Who administers screening tools and how soon after a student
enrolls?
Thank you.
Sharon
