The video - the concept to explain about dyslexia as it refers to the adult - deserves universal attention. I hope that everyone who had the good fortune to see this will pass it along. Can you imagine what will happen when all teachers learn the "code" and are prepared to teach all children including dyslexics and ADHD children so that all can learn to read - that the public school teachers will get the preparation they need to do that job. Adult dyslexics were kids whose public schools failed them. Remediation is still limited, with rare exceptions, to private tutors or to special schools. Thanks so much for this information. My hope is that everyone on the listserve will pass it along. I'm doing just that. I am an educational specialist helping dsylexics. If I learned the methodology, so can all teachers. It gives you a glimpse into what it feels like to have dyslexia or AD/HD, as well as the civil rights case that opened the door for people with learning disabilities.
