Very interesting, Glenn!!!.  Can we change our paradigms to meet the
students goals ?  I don't know.  Maybe   one way would be to have oral
GED test, figuring that many  people can learn the knowledge without
necessarily having the reading skills.  (And I am the one who said to not
set unrealistic goals!)  I have to think about this one!
