Hear , hear Katrina-- I agree-- EVERY teacher should watch that video several times.? Every time I see it I am astounded at how painful learning can be when the learner is so misunderstood.? I haven't seen the sequel to that-- has anyone on the list?? Is it good, too?
Another that offers not only the stories--many told by adults--but some real solutions and is gorgeously done is Ennis' Gift, from the Ennis Cosby foundation. ? A lovely. lovely video. ? Robin Lovrien Schwarz

Hello Leif,
I would recommend a video titled How Difficult Can This Be? The F.A.T. City Workshop by Rick Lavoie. It is excellent in sensitizing and creating awareness of how students (people)?with LD experience challenges in their daily lives, as well as, strategies for working with these students.??It also comes with a practical discussion guide. You can find more information and resources?at Ricklavoie.com. This would be an outstanding tool to start the year with.
