<DIV>There will be a free 'LD Talk' sponsored by the National Center for
Learning Disabilities at 3:00 p.m. (ET) on November 5, 2008. The title
will be "<SPAN class=subheading>Academic Success Strategies for Adolescents with
LD." </SPAN><SPAN class=subheading>Dr. Don Deshler</SPAN>, director of the
Center for Research on Learning at the University of Kansas, will share his
knowledge of current literacy, strategic instruction, and school and
district-wide educational innovations that are available to help adolescents
with LD become successful independent learners. Dr. Deshler is also on the
National Institute for Literacy Advisory Board.</DIV>
