department of human services has a branch in your state associated with LD
students. If the students are diagnosed as having a disability, the state DHS
should offer a way to accommodate the students. If you are and ABE instructor
and your students in your program have been referred to you by the local DHS
office, then they should have a system to address their needs. I believe that DHS
offices are part of the local workforce commissions that refer you students. I
would try to contact one of their counselors. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
