major tests we use to assess learning disabilities are <BR>1) a rigorous
screening to ensure that testing would be useful and that the<BR>learning
difficulty seen in school is not caused by some other disability,<BR>lack of
access to education or second language issue.<BR>2) an IQ test- usually the
WAIS III or Woodcock-Johnson III Cognitive<BR>3) achievement tests in reading,
writing and math ( usually three tests in<BR>each area)- some combination of
Woodcock-Johnson Tests III of Achievement,<BR>WIAT, WRAT,
