Hi Paul -
Are you incorporating health messaging (i.e. diabetes) in your programming? I just started my doctor of public health in health education at Loma Linda this fall. For the next year and a half I'm taking classes, but when I get into research, I definitely want to focus on Latino health issues. This might be a way to do two or three things at once. I'd love to work with you - but unfortunately, I don't have anything to offer you right now.

I have recently begun working with several
community service organizations in Southern California
to write grants to set up mobile computer labs that
will offer computer literacy training, along with ESL
literacy (Pumarosa.com), Spanish language literacy and
citizenship programs. The focus of the program will be
on low-income Latino families, especially in rural
areas. Non-Spanish speaking families will also be
served.
At this time, I am very interested in
communicating with anyone who would like more
information or who is willing to share information.
