List members,
On December 6 I forwarded to the list an announcement with the subject line
"DOL At-Risk Youth Demonstration $$". It was brought to my attention that,
on the page the link led to, the dates within the announcement meant that
the grant was not current. Specifically, the date at the top of the
announcement said December 6, 2005, but under "Dates" it says, "The closing
date for receipt of applications is February 4, 2000. Applications must be
received by 4 p.m. eastern standard time." And then at the bottom, it
says, "Signed in Washington, D.C., this 30th day of November, 1999." Then
on the cover sheet at the very end, it says, "Created: July 22, 2005". I
requested clarification, and the answer from DOL ETA is that it was an old
not current announcement but they didn't understand why the dates were
wrong. I apologize for the confusion, and hope nobody spent any time
preparing a proposal!
