Sara and others,
When this came through in my email, part of the URL had been wrapped to a second line and I had to cut and paste the two parts into my browser window to get it to open. Try that and see.

I am a volunteer and parent of child with a disablitlity , and in your
post you ask about methods of readability . What is a readability method
in this context if we are teaching children to read?
Or can this method be used with children or can you point me in the
right place for such a question or here another twist to the question
did these adults get any reading methods when they were taught to read
? I learned to read with the old dick and jane books is that a method
you speak of ??

I think that now is a good time to discuss readability issues. Some have
been discussing the SMOG. Does anyone have a readability measure that
they have used and liked?
