There was a television show on Discovery several years back where both
males and females fully disguised themselves as the opposite sex for six
weeks. The show was filmed similar to a video diary.

A mjor network picked up the idea and did a series called Black Vs White
(I think it came out last year) where a white family would dress as a
black family and a black family would dress as a white family. I do not
believe Black vs. White occurred over six weeks, but it was eye-opening.

The tv show made me cringe at times as did the book Black Like Me.

Does anyone remember what that tv show was called? Was it a TV show?
Could it have been a documentary?

A gay woman disguises herself as a man in order to better
understand....men.

I only wish there were a book (maybe there is) that goes the other
way--a man disguised as a woman in order to better understand women's
lives.

Back to the first book--fascinating, a real page turner, I would be
interested to know what any men on this list think of the book. i am
now much more knowledgeable about men's lives, a step forward.
