if it's an interest of students and can be framed as information (gathering
information, e.g. from news media) to be discussed/critically examined.
It's not about this candidate is good and that one isn't, rather than
looking at statements, evidence, and other input in order to learn about
1) how elections and campaigns happens
and
2) to give people opportunities to express ideas and, maybe, if it's of use,
participate in some sort of reasoned debate?
or learn to comment on candidates' comments during the many debates?
or critically analyse candidates' websites?
