Drs. Kathleen (Kathy) King and Mev Miller are editing a book of writings and
artwork by adult basic education teachers/educators addressing women's
literacy issues. We invite you to make a proposal for what you'd like to
contribute to this exciting venture.

*Proposal Process *

Please write your proposal in an electronic form (WORD, Open office, etc)
and submit your file as an email attachment. Please be sure to keep a backup
copy for yourself 

Artwork should be sent electronically in graphics file (600 dpi resolution
-- .tif, .gif, .bmp, etc -- NOT in .pdf), or *mail the original. *

Please submit proposals to *welearn at litwomen.org * with *BOOK PROPOSAL * in
the subject line. Questions about submissions and the publication may be
sent to this same email address or you may phone Mev Miller at 401-383-4374.
Faxed submissions not accepted.

*Due to the size of this project, the editors will not be able to provide
technology assistance on this project. Submitters need to navigate any
technology requirements independently or with assistance of colleagues other
than the editors. *
