Recently, someone asked if folks can join AALPD, and then vote on the PD 
Policies.

Sure -- joining AALPD is simple (and free!).

To join, complete the short online membership form:

http://www.aalpd.org/membership_form.cfm

Then, you may submit your vote by visiting:

http://www.aalpd.org/planning/policyvote_dataentry.cfm

Today (November 7th) is the deadline for indicating whether or not you support 
AALPD in promoting these policies.
