George,

When we were developing a Training of Trainers in Colorado I found the
following resource to be very useful:
The Ultimate Educator: Achieveing Maximum Adult Learning Through
Training and Presentations by the National Victim Assistance Academy.

The abstract reads:
"The NVAA workbook reviews the basics of training design, the
differences between adult and child learners, and ideas for making
presentations memorable. Topics include coordination, learning styles,
presentation techniques, facilitation skills, lesson development and
session evaluation.

The home address is below. Click on each chapter title and appendix to
download the contents.

Thank you, Janet

Sorry for my too short a message. The trainers will then be training
multidisciplinary team members engaged in child abuse and neglect
prevention work, including social workers, teachers, pediatricians,
officials in corrections, NGO staff, etc. Programs are mostly in
developing countries.

Can you please say more about the people that the
trainers will then be training? Is this for parents? Social service
workers? educators?

Trainer

Dear PD Colleagues,

For a not-for-profit organization engaged in child abuse
and neglect prevention, I am designing a training of trainer program. If
you have any materials, guides or sample curricula, please share with
me. Thx.
