I recognize that the original question was more about methods of "training the trainer" (and I don't want to get off topic), but in response to the posting below I feel that I must suggest that George (or others) who check out "A Framework for Understanding Poverty" should also take the time to check out the growing criticism of Payne's work. A recent issue of the magazine "Rethinking Schools" provides a good overview of some of the issues people have with the approach and ideas.
