[ProfessionalDevelopment 1255] Re: 5-minute FeedbackJames, Kathryn kathryn.james at lancaster.ac.ukWed May 23 04:03:52 EDT 2007
[James, Kathryn] Dear Jackie and All, 1. Did you benefit from this discussion? If so, then in what ways? [James, Kathryn] Yes, It was a real insight to hear/see what others thought who were outside the UK and from different contexts. Peoples perception on lurking, expectations of their participants regarding discussion. 2. What did you learn from the discussion, or what is at least one thing that you took away from the discussion? (It could be a recommendation, an idea or aspect of online/blended PD you hope to pursue, a resource you will explore, etc.) [James, Kathryn] Similarities as well as differences apply. I am going to include advantages and disadvantages on the aspects of contribution, so for example while we do have expectations of participants to participate I will I think include something on the value of lurking (or listening perhaps as a better phrase) 4. What did you like about the discussion (organization, process, format, etc) and what would you _change_ for next time? (consider aspects like (but not limited to) the week 1 discussion primer, the availability of synchronous chat office hours, Pod cast/online video archive, use of the wiki, facilitation, etc.)[James, Kathryn] I liked the openness of the discussion, the fact I would read and not feel obliged to contribute all the time, but really the diversity of the insight 5. If you attended the AALPD PreConference at COABE, was this a useful follow up to the PreConference? If so, then in what ways? If not, what suggestions do you have to improve the follow up for future PreConferences? [James, Kathryn] Sorry no, did not attend. [James, Kathryn] Many thanks everyone kathryn Please return by June 1st. Thanks! :-) Jackie Taylor -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
