Greetings,
 
IN SEARCH OF ADULT EDUCATION TRAINERS
 
We are in search of experienced adult education trainers for a local
 adult education program manager certification program developed by
NAEPDC
 (the state directors' professional development organization) and
 ProLiteracy.
 
Local program management is key to the success of adult education and
 literacy services.  To that end, we have developed a series of
 professional development activities for local program managers with a
national
 certification option.  The Leadership Excellence Academies (LEA)
require
 trainers with experience in local adult education management, an
 understanding of management processes in multiple states, and excellent
 training skills.

In 2006-2007 we piloted the training in three states and we have six
 additional states beginning the series for 2007-2008.  We anticipate
 expanding to additional states and, as a result, are soliciting
additional
 trainers to shadow this year's sessions and prepare for leading new
 states in the years to come.
 
Attached is a scope of work and application for LEA trainers.  Please
 forward it to those you know who may be interested in joining our cadre
 of trainers.
