* Your reason for subscribing - I am interested in innovation in theory and teaching practice, as well as materials. My experience spans Kindergarten to university, and while I currently teach ESL to pre-university international students, I also teach TESL (Teaching ESL) to post-bac students.
* Your role - My role as a TESL teacher demands that I find areas to guide students for their ongoing teaching development.
* Your interests in professional development - I believe that sharing of ideas and resources is paramount to allow those with little time to benefit from the wealth of experience and diverse activities that are apparent in these discussion groups. I always seem to get reignited after having pursued pro-d.
* What you look forward to discussing as it may pertain to quality- I'd like to know the state of 'reflective practice' and how the participants have changed their stance on curriculum or aspects of learning (e.g. experiential learning, active learning, transformative learning). Although, I am curious, so there are many other items that will no doubt enlighten me on aspects I haven't considered!
