I have been in adult education for 20 years. I have had the
opportunity to work with ProLiteracy worldwide. They came to be by
merging Literacy Volunteers of America and Laubach Literacy. They are
the leaders in adult literacy, so I would suggest to start there.
Their website is http://www.proliteracy.org/ I sure hope this helps.
