One of the most important decisions for the National Institute for
Literacy, hiring its permanent director, may be made as early as June,
2004. This decision will very likely affect the existence of, or at
least the guidelines for, this electronic list. You may have an opinion
about the qualities, experience and knowledge that the NIFL Advisory
Board is seeking in a new Director. You may wish to share your views
with NIFL's Advisory Board and Interagency Management Team.
