Colleagues,

The content standards discussion comes to an end in a few hours.  I  
want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of our  
guests. They each gave us a great overview of their state's work in  
implementing content standards, and each state has some terrific  
accomplishments to be proud of. I also want to thank our guests who  
posted questions and in some cases provided answers. This has been a  
rich and thoughtful discussion for all of us, and I think it has also  
left us with much to think about.
