Hi, all,
At our annual ABE Directors' Meeting in Massachusetts last week, we
offered a session on Leadership by Ron Walker of DWJ Solutions; he
highlighted the need for a process of looking within and reflecting on
what drives one to aspire to and attain leadership roles. One important
quality he addressed is the "willingness to be disturbed" (from Margaret
J. Wheatley's "Willing to Be Disturbed" in Turning to One Another:
Simple Conversations to Restore Hope to the Future.) He also recommended
You Tube, resources: search for Leadership to find two video clips:
Imagine Leadership by XPlane and Nitin Nohria, and Desmond Tutu on
Leadership.
Great Resources!
Ron Walker earned rave reviews at our conference! If you want to do more
on this topic, seek out his services!
