The Professional Development Academy, a project housed at the
Rehabilitation Research and Training Center at Virginia Commonwealth
University, is sponsoring a webcast is called "Technology & Transition
for Individuals with Learning Disabilities" on January 26, 2006. The
webcast will be presented by Wendy Strobel, the Director of Training and
Project Manager of Demand Pull. Wendy has worked extensively in the
application and training of issues around assistive technology in work and
school environments. She also has a great deal of experience in the area
of employment and transition from school to work for people with
disabilities.

The webcast will take place on Thursday, January 26 from 2:00 to 2:45
Eastern time and will be followed by a 30 minute chat session where
participants can comment on the material and ask questions of Wendy.

Registration and fee information can be accessed by clicking on the
"Register for This Webcast" link located under Wendy's picture. The
registration process is completely online and there are two options for
registering:

1. Individual Access--$50
Includes access to a selected webcast for one individual.

2. Agency Access--$175
Includes access to a selected webcast for five individuals from your
agency.
