[Technology] MI online course announcement

Hello all,
This message is posted on behlaf of Silja Kallenbach. Below is an
announcement for an online course on multiple intelligences and
differentiated instruction that Wendy Quinones and Silja Kallenbach of the
New England Literacy Resource Center/World Education will be offering
starting May 1. It is particularly appropriate for practitioners who have
participated in an MI workshop or course and have a rudimentary
understanding of the basic tenets of MI. It will be offered on the Adult Ed
Pro platform run by Midwest LINCS/ Ohio LRC.

Reaching Adult Learners through Multiple Intelligences and Differentiated
Instruction -- Online Mini-Course

Expand your understanding of multiple intelligences theory and
differentiated instruction, and learn how to apply them at all levels of
Adult Basic Education and ESOL. Drawing on course readings and discussion,
participants will develop their own MI-based lesson units with guidance
from the instructors. This six-module online course is designed for
educators who already have a rudimentary understanding of MI theory.

Instructors: Silja Kallenbach, Co-Director and Wendy Quinones, Teacher
Researcher, Adult Multiple Intelligences Study

The course will be offered over six weeks, beginning in May 1, 2006. Fee:
