Dear List:
Maura Donnelly wrote a great set of questions and answers for www.firstfind.info. It's in the "Help" section. Click on "Is this your first time using the Internet?" There is also a "Topics" section on Computers.

If you haven't seen www.firstfind.info you might want to check it out. It's a online library for adults with limited literacy. Great sites you can trust (not commercial). It's updated regularly so most of them work. It's also very easy to navigate.

Can anyone recommend or share a Computer Basics curriculum or set of lesson
plans for the ESL and/or ABE classroom?
Something that covers the "how-tos" of using a computer, the standard
office software, email, using the internet?

Regards,
Mariann
