I think the best and easiest way to create DVD video files combined with photo still slideshows is Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 Suite. It will not only allow you capture the video from your camera, but it will also allow you to edit and add slideshow images into the video. Once your file was created it will let you burn to a standard DVD format or, what I think you are more interested in, export to a WMV file. The WMV, is short for a Windows Media Video file, which is one of the many formats used for embedding video into a website. You can check out this software at http://www.roxio.com. I hope this helps.
