Last week David asked about manuals for teaching people how to get the
most from their phone, check out this article,
http://www.bizcommunity.com/Article/196/15/11235.html.

I am not sure if it was from this list serve or from looking on the
internet but I read an interesting article talking about the use of cell
phones in education and it led me to wonder if anyone knows of any
learning applications for mobiles; i.e. flashcards. Does anyone know if
there is an application where you can create your own flashcards on your
phone? Does anyone know of a service to send ABE questions to
cell-phones or how to create that service in a learning center?

I found this site that allows one to make cell phone-enabled sites, and
think it would be a good way to get information to students, I also
wonder if it might be something the ICVV project would like to explore)
