I don't deliver instruction, (only joined the listserv recently). In
the past I've done research with people who have delivered distance
instruction, but I don't know if it would apply to the situations you
and the listserv are dealing with.

Lynn,
I have suggestions for e-learning moderation, but it sounds like you are
using videoconferencing? Ask Tina asks, what is the medium you are
using to
deliver your instruction?

Hi Lynn,

What about the possibility of having the students "call" you on Skype
to
practice their speaking skills?

Tell me more about the instructional medium you are
using--web-based,
interactive audio/video?

I am currently teaching a foreign language course via distance
learning
and I need suggestions to make this a better experience for the
students
and myself.
