Hi Everyone,
O'Reilly Media just published an article I wrote about the Language Dialer - you can read it here:
http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/a/etel/2007/07/03/etel-and-your-second-language.html
I think SLA is a great context for user-generated networks. Students can provide content in their native languages for everyone
else. If enough people from a variety of backgrounds are involved, a whole host of languages and dialects can be stored for
language lab type exercises. That's what the LD is all about in a nutshell.
I'm in the NYC area looking for work in E-Learning and/or software development. If anyone has any suggestions for opportunities
in this field, please email me off list.
Thanks very much for your time.
