Hello Tech list Colleagues,
This is a reminder that our first planned discussion for the year will
be taking place next week from Monday February 11th through the 14th!
The topic is use of social networking sites in education settings.
Please take some time and think about the questions and experiences you
would like to share. Our guest will be Emily May (bio below) from the
community based organization Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow (OBT).
OBT is an education and job training service provider for youths and
adults, for more info you can see their web site at:
http://www.obtjobs.org/ <http://www.obtjobs.org/>
Emily May and OBT have been using My Space and LinkedIn with their
student population to achieve a number of learning and program goals.
This discussion, as with all we have on the list, will be made richer by
your active participation!
Regards,
Mariann
