Gina,

The course is really for anyone that wants to learn how to use Word 2007.
All the lessons have a video and text version, so low literacy learners
could take the class if they possess the basic computer skills to get
started. Right now, we're doing a test run of the class with educators.

If you'd like join the beta-testing group and help us out, please let me
know!

Do you recommend this course for students or adult education teachers?

Gina

Subject: [Technology 1570] Need participants for a test class of Word 2007

Hi,

I work with GCFLearnFree.org, which is a website that provides free computer
training and life skills lessons. We've just created a Word 2007
instructor-supported class and are looking for volunteers to take our Word
2007 test class before making it available to all learners. The limited
enrollment test class will last three weeks, from Wednesday March 19 to
Wednesday April 9.

Our goals for the test class are to evaluate the effectiveness of the
content and the assignments, and determine the number of CEUs that we will
offer when the class goes live. It is through test classes like this, that
we are able to improve our program and offer quality lessons. You do have to
have Word 2007 to take the test class.

If you are interested, please contact me by 3 pm on Tuesday March 18 at
kelly at gcflearnfree.org and we can add you to the list. If you have any
colleagues that might be interested in participating, please let them know
about this opportunity.

Best Regards,

Kelly Potter Markham
