Hello Mariann, I am the Media & Technology Specialist at Sussex Correctional Institution in southern Delaware. One site I would recommend to you and others www.tappedin.org <http://www.tappedin.org/> which I use fairly regularly. It is a virtual community for professional development for educators. I co-manage (with William Muth) the ALE Wiki section for Correctional Education, and I certainly recommend the Wiki to all adult educators. http://wiki.literacytent.org/index.php/Main_Page I am currently working on an Educational Doctorate specializing in Educational Technology at the University of Delaware. I have a blog posted at http://daacepd.blogspot.com/ The blog topic is related to teacher networks/communities of practice... and how they might be used more frequently & more efficiently to enhance professional development. I would appreciate it the list members who are reading/responding to this post might take a "jog" over to the blog and comment on any of my postings. I am very interested in hearing more about your research. Gina "Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. What technology resources (sites, tools, learning communities) do you use that supports you (or your program staff) in your own professional development as educators? What do you think is the value of these resources and how have they helped you? I know a number of the folks on this list attended or presented at conferences this season did you see any thing on this topic that you can share?
