software into your ESOL<BR>instruction. You'll identify the steps necessary to
incorporate computer<BR>software applications into lesson plans, including
analyzing specific<BR>language and computer skills. You will finish the course
having developed,<BR>tested, and refined a learning activity for your own
classroom. Upon<BR>completion of this course you will be able
to:<BR><BR>* Describe the benefits and
challenges of using word processing,<BR>spreadsheets, and presentation software
in ESOL instruction<BR>* Evaluate student
use of productivity software<BR>* Analyze
learning activities for language and computer
skills<BR>* Convert a classroom activity to
one that includes productivity<BR>software, test it with students, and evaluate
the activity<BR><BR>During this five-week course you will engage in self-paced
activities and<BR>readings, as well as asynchronous discussions with the
