International forum on Citizenship Education, Beijing,
May 18-20, 2006
Forum Theme: Citizenship Education in the Context of
Information Society. Proposed topics include: Mass
media and the moral development, innovative approaches
for effective citizenship development, teaching and
learning for international understanding and
collaboration, partnership between schools, families,
and community for children's citizenship.
The Forum is expected to bring about 300 professionals
from several countries. The hosts encourage
individuals (practicing professionals, teachers, and
graduate students) to participate, present papers or
conduct workshops.

You may go for the three-day event or participate in
an eight-day group visit that includes the conference
and sightseeing of the Great Wall, Temple of Heaven,
Tin an Men Square, and Summer Palace.
