Dr. Greenberg, as I see it, the main reason for combining the lists was 
given as stated,
"...many of the issues that impact one group also affect the other group." 
I agree that the
issues may be the same, but the implications may be different.  Although an 
issue may
impact me and another person, the impact on me may be entirely different. 
Given this,
my reaction will be more of a concern, that important salient considerations 
may be lost
for both groups.
